Alexander The Great Grand Reserve 2016

A limited-production Bordeaux-style blend of six varietals — Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc, Shiraz, and Mourvèdre — sourced from a 29-year-old vineyard in Kerem Ben Zimra and aged for a full 48 months in French and American oak. The result is a wine of striking depth and elegance: deep black-red in the glass, with aromas of ripe dark fruit, spice, leather, and tobacco. On the palate, bold blackberry and subtle tobacco notes are framed by firm, structured tannins and a long, complex finish.
